Ollero Eco Lodge is a small family owned hideout place, only 10 minutes’ drive from Rovaniemi city center, in the Arctic Circle, Lapland. Ollero Eco Lodge serves as a perfect base during your stay in Rovaniemi, providing comfortable and authentic accommodation and seasonal activities for 6 people (max 8).
At Ollero Eco Lodge we respect nature, traditions, culture and locality. At the lodge nature and river are present at all time during your stay and it is an ideal spot for chasing Northern Lights or midnight sun as well as for other seasonal and local activities, such as ice fishing, snowshoeing, sledding hill, traditional smoke sauna and open fire cooking.
Ollero Eco Lodge is composed of three separate buildings, each one with its own story. Main lodge is over 100 years old. It is a relaxing place with a living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with excellent food making facilities. Fully renovated bathroom with a shower and a toilet are in the main lodge.
Bedroom #1 is the modern glass igloo, which is just 1 min walking distance from the main lodge. It has a double bed, a small composting eco-toilet and a small kitchenette. Its window wall provides a panorama view over the river by bringing you closer to arctic experience than ever before. While lying and enjoying the arctic night and clear starry sky in bed you might even see the Northern Lights.
The two other bedrooms are in a separate sleeping cabin. Sleeping cabin is a spacious and cozy two-bedroomed building in the yard. Here you can feel the authentic Lapland lifestyle and enjoy the peace and quiet. The rustic furnishings and interior design have been made with respect to the history of the place and in environmentally friendly way. Bedroom #2 has a double bed in a sleeping loft and Bedroom #3 has a big bunk bed. Both bedrooms have unique features and characteristics. There is a small composting eco-toilet in the sleeping cabin.
