We are versatile travel service provider in the middle of the Nature park of Koli and on the Finland's fourth largest lake, Pielinen.
Our two rentable igloo boats are floating on the waves of lake Pielinen near our Koli Harbour restaurant.
Our AuroraHut Igloo Boats are located in October 2021- January 2022 on dry land in the yard of Koli Ryynänen in the immediate vicinity of the services. You willa stay comfortably watchin the forest view and relax in your own igloo. Our wooden sauna offers you a soft steam and in Koli Ryynänen restaurant you can enjoy dinner and a buffet breakfast, which is included in the accommodation. Trails to the national park and ski trails start right next to us.
According to the ice situation in January, the AuroraHut glass igloos will move back to Pielinen and you are able to enjoy the magnificent lake scenery and admire the starry sky. You can walk to the hut along a path or through a longer route using snowshoes. Guests can also use sauna and try ice swimming. Breakfast is served buffet style at Koli Ryynänen or you can take your breakfast basket on arrival.
During the summer season in May, you can get back on the water! We offer various accommodation packages: you can combine your accommodation with a boat trip on AuroraHut or take a canoe to explore lake Pielinen.
