Poikkijärvi is a small village right across the Torne river from Jukkasjärvi and the world famous Icehotel. The Aurora Hut is located on the shore of the Torne river in a pine forest. Wood heated Sauna and barbecue place nearby the Aurora Hut. Breakfast is optional. As an option is also dinner or barbecue with local specialities by your host.
We are located just 700 meters from the Icehotel and restaurants, great downhill skiing in Kiruna and the mountains. Your host is Arne Bergh, artist, creative director and for 25 years involved in the creation of Icehotel.
